- Divorce among immigrants and its role on mental health of family members and future of Canadian citizens (under development: currently open for sponsors): The purpose of this project is to explore perceptions of the immigrants about divorce, contributing factors, its influence on the mental health of the family members and future of the citizens and future of Canadian society. Project is under development and will start in July, 2017 and will run until August 2018. It is open for sponsors and will be open for volunteers in mid May.
- Role of Communities of Practice on transferring knowledge among nurses: a meta ethnography (project ended, open for sponsors only): This project explored the role of communities of practice on learning among the nurses. This project was a meta ethnography and is now closed. It is in progress for submission for publication. It is still open for sponsorship for publication, but it is closed for volunteers.
- This circle is small: a need for revising traditional nursing process (project ended): This project explored the nursing process among a sample of registered nurses in Vancouver. It is closed for sponsors and volunteers.
- A framework for implementing clinical practice guidelines in the hospitals (project closed for sponsors and volunteers): The purpose of this project is to develop a framework for implementation of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs). The framework is based on the series of research projects that were conducted in Vancouver by members of IIHR. This project and is in write up phase and is now closed for both sponsor and volunteers.
- Evaluation of patient education media in selected hospitals in the city of Vancouver (under development, open for sponsors, open for volunteers): The purpose of this project is to evaluate media produced for health education and health literacy at local, provincial and national level in Canada. The project is open for being expanded on an international level and it is open for both sponsors and volunteers.
