World Youth Research Club (WYRC)
World Youth Research Club (WYRC) has been operating since 2014. The purpose of this club is to empower students from Grade 7 through Grade 12 in research. Members of WYRC are recognized as Junior Researchers (Bronze), Junior Reviewers (Silver) and Junior Scientists (Gold).
Junior Researchers (Bronze) are empowered to be able to write grant proposals and compete for funding. Junior Reviewers (Silver) are able to review Junior Reviewers’ proposals, evaluate them and make decisions for funding (or not funding) them. Junior Scientists (Gold) are those students who have been doing their research for 1-3 years and have presented their research at academic events such as conferences.
Translation Club (TC)
Health text translation is another initiative in the IIHR. The goal of which is translating English textbooks or research and evidence (articles) into other languages such as Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Persian, and Turkish. Our ultimate goal is knowledge dissemination and knowledge translation.
The TC team in the IIHR has started accepting membership for translating various textbooks. Everybody can get involved in this club. The IIHR has special workshops on the principles of translation and members can participate in these classes.
Those who participate in this club and translations in TC will be acknowledged for their contributions when the books or articles are published.
Knowledge Transition and Translation Club (KTC)
This club runs a variety of events such as journal clubs, seminars, workshops, forums and academic debates. This will empower members to improve their knowledge and awareness of the intricacies and details of health-related translations.
